Its been long enough that I am writing ..
WellAs usual I was busy with my music work...Re-Recording...Re-Mixing....etc etc etc.. but I am glad that thing came out good after all this efforts..
In the middle of this month"July", there was one special Day..16th ..which happens to be my Birthday...
And this year it ought to be different from the rest and to be honest it really was...
First of all I was Far from my frens and family members... no cakes, no parties.. it was a silent affair except for few phones beeps and messages....
Anyway I had decided two days before my birthday that I will go to "Manokamna" Shrine.. so I told Sonam about this and we two left early in the morning for "Manokamna", which is approx.110 km from Kathmandu... the journey was horrible as we din't book any ticket we just caught the micro bus from the road...It took us nearly 3 hrs to reach our destination..
When We reach there ..I felt so good ..the place was really soothing site.. no pollutions,fresh air ,water and the high mountains with lots of greenery...And that the Shrine was on top of the high mountain...
Sonam told me that there are small villages in this mountains and hill ...I din't believe him until I saw that myself while travelling in a Cable car.. {the only means of transportation,Except hiking}
We crossed the first mountain...and it was very foggy up there and there was another high mountain after we crossed that and on top of that mountain there was a different world alltogether...I was really shocked when I landed up there at "Manokamna"..It seems to be like a small town with all the mordern facilities..on that high mountain..lots of shops,restaurants,vendors,hotels and all sort of things...but the only difference was that there was not even a single vecihical in tha place and the people out there were frendly and warm...
From that point one could see a real Nepal... the small villlages on top of other hills and mountains..I wonder how this people mange to survive out there with no modern means of transportations and communication.. Hats off to them...
Ok ..back to the Shrine...it was a lovely temple (just one )unlike other temples in Kathmandu.. We went to the temple (No leathers allowed,even your wallet) offered the prayers and had lunch on that hight altitude restaurant....It was really an experience of lifetime... for me at least...
I had the most memorable birthday..this year...
And with Goddess "Manokamna" blessing it was the best ever for me..
